U.S. Center for SafeSport
Independent reporting and response
The U.S. Center for SafeSport is the independent authority responsible for preventing and responding to abuse and misconduct in the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Movement. It receives and investigates reports, maintains disciplinary records, and trains athletes, parents, coaches, volunteers, and organizations in abuse prevention.
Club safety
Background checks
USA Gymnastics and the National Center for Safety Initiatives provide clubs a background check option for individuals who are not USA Gymnastics members, including office managers, volunteers, and booster club members.
Current or prospective USA Gymnastics members, and anyone taking USA Gymnastics University courses, should complete their check through the USA Gymnastics portal.
